Tax Law in general with emphasis on treaties to avoid double taxation, competent authority procedures, international tax planning, restructuring of supply chains, oil exploration and production, software taxes, wealth management, mergers and acquisitions, permanent establishments, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing and value added tax. Additionally, he has over 40 years of experience in tax litigation, obtaining favorable judgments that have become precedent, reversing the original judgment of the court.

Former Tax Partner at Baker & McKenzie for 34 years and head of the Tax Group in Bogotá for 13 years. In 2011 he decided to found BéndiksenLaw.

Additionally, Mr. Béndiksen was advisor to the Colombian Tax Authority (DIAN), introducing transfer pricing to Colombia, drafting the work papers, drafting the bill submitted to the Congress and convincing the Congress of the benefits of adopting this system.
