En Colombia, las empresas que recolectan y utilizan datos personales deben realizar estas actividades bajo las garant\u00edas descritas en la ley 1581 de 2012, entre las cuales se encuentra la de garantizar su protecci\u00f3n para evitar filtraciones o mal uso de estos por un tercero no autorizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio realiz\u00f3 su segundo estudio anual sobre las medidas de seguridad de aquellas empresas que han registrado sus bases de datos en el Registro Nacional de bases de datos. Se encontr\u00f3 que de 33.596 empresas que cumplieron con la obligaci\u00f3n del registro, 24.424 no cuentan con los mecanismos para garantizar la adecuada protecci\u00f3n de los datos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este hallazgo pone de presente el gran riesgo al que se enfrentan estas empresas.
